Sourcing organic, local ingredients cuts down on resources, provides fresher food for you, helps the environment, and supports our local farmers. Due to the short growing season and incompatible crops in our area, we can't always buy local, so when we have to look further, we do our best to keep it to small, family farms like Uncle Matt's in Florida. Most of our superfoods are sourced from local companies, helping to give our local economy a boost.

Packaging

Packaging

Glass is clean. Glass is reusable. It takes less energy to recycle glass than plastic. Glass gives you the best juice possible on the go.That's why we use it. Plastic bottles have chemicals that will make your juice taste nasty and turn funky. All of our takeaway containers, cups and napkins are made from recycled materials and are 100% compostable. We offer a discount for clean bottles that are returned to us. If you can't return it, please recycle or reuse your bottle.

Purée is in a green LEED gold certified building. There are plants on the roof. Bamboo, a renewable source has been chosen for our floor, low led lighting, low chemical paints, and reclaimed wood are just some of the ways we have built our space in good conscience. We only use green cleaning products and we are 100% wind powered through Clean Currents.

Compost

Compost

We are working hard to get our pulp to the right places. We are experimenting with re-using the pulp into snacks and food. We are proud to be working closely with Perennial Acres and Blue Tomato Farms, who pick up our pulp daily and put it to good use. What isn't picked up by guests or the farms gets picked up and is distributed by Compost Cab. Let us know if you need any compost and we will hold it for you as long as we can.

It's not just about the juice.

Puree is dedicated to making strong, ethical choices.
